Biography

Scott Foley began playing the role of Captain Jake Ballard in Season 2 of the ABC series “Scandal,” and recently completed the show’s seventh and final season. Foley recently starred in the ABC show “Whiskey Cavalier,” playing the role of FBI super-agent Will Chase, aka Whiskey Cavalier. He also appeared in the August 2017 release of the Netflix film “Naked.” Foley’s breakthrough role came when he played Noel Crane on “Felicity,” which enjoyed a five-year run on the WB Network (1998-2002). He also had a starring role in the CBS military drama “The Unit” as Sergeant First Class Bob Brown throughout its four-season run (2006-2009), and had recurring guest appearances on “Dawson’s Creek,” “Scrubs,” “Cougar Town,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “True Blood.” Foley was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for his role in Scream 3 (2000). He directed one episode of “Felicity” and produced the sitcom “A.U.S.A.,” in which he appeared. In 2014, Foley wrote, directed, produced and acted in “Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife.” He is married to actress Marika Dominczyk and the couple live in Los Angeles with their three children.
