John McEnroe is a 7-time Grand Slam singles champion. He has won the US Open 8 times (4 singles, 4 doubles), Wimbledon 3 times (singles) and has won 77 ATP World Tour singles titles & 71 doubles. Between 1982-84 he was ranked No.1 and had a 39-match win streak. In ’84 he went 82-3 and was No.1 in doubles for a record 269 weeks. His title wins span 4 decades.The 5-time U.S. Davis Cup champion was inducted into Hall of Fame in 1999. Since ‘98 he has won more than 20 ATP Champions Tour titles. He is a father of six and husband to singer Patty Smyth. Had cameo roles in TV and film; authored a pair of autobiographies titled “Serious” and “But Seriously.” Nike’s first-ever campaign, “Rebel With A Cause”, centered on McEnroe. He currently provides analysis on TV and radio at the Majors for virtually every American network and the BBC. Residing in NYC, McEnroe is an avid rock fan and guitar player, owns an art gallery, is the director of the John McEnroe Tennis Academy, coached Milos Raonic and co-chairs the City Parks Foundation Tennis Benefit at the US Open alongside Billie Jean King.
