Biography

Dennis Miller’s critically acclaimed half-hour live talk show Dennis Miller Live earned five Emmy Awards during a 215-episode, nine-year run on HBO that began in 1994. He also wrote and starred in the Emmy-nominated cable comedy special Raw Feed in 2003 and was the host and executive producer of CNBC’s Dennis Miller, a topical interview talk show. His early notoriety came on Saturday Night Live, where he spent six seasons (1985-91) as the “Weekend Update” correspondent. Miller also appeared on ABC’s “Monday Night Football” for two seasons (2000-2002) alongside Al Michaels and Dan Fouts. His credits spill into the film industry, most notably a string of dramatic roles that included Disclosure (1994), The Net (1995) and Murder at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave (1996), and his “Rant Series” books, four in total, were all New York Times Best Sellers. Miller hosted the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards, and currently hosts a popular syndicated three-hour daily talk radio show, Dennis Miller Live, which debuted in 2007. The show, which counts more than two million listeners, is also live-streamed on the web. The Pittsburgh native is married, and resides in Santa Barbara, Ca.
