Biography

One of the most successful figures in the entertainment industry, Chelsea Handler has enjoyed multi-platform success as a best-selling author, talk show host, stand-up comedian and actress.  From 2007-2014, Handler hosted more than 1,000 episodes of “Chelsea Lately” on the E! network, and also appeared on the TV series “Girls Behaving Badly” (2002-2005). Featured in 2011 in Glamour Magazine’s  “Women of the Year” issue, Handler has authored five New York Times best-sellers, including four that reached No. 1: “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea” (2008), “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang” (2010), “Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me” (2011) and “Uganda Be Kidding Me” (2014). She is currently producing Chelsea Does, a Netflix four-part documentary-style film series, and is collaborating with Netflix on a talk show that will debut in 2016.  Handler’s popularity landed her in the Top 100 on Time’s 2012 “Most Influential People” list and on the 2010 Forbes Magazine “Celebrity 100” (No. 98). The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards host has 5.75 million Twitter followers.
